London Zoo

The London Zoo is the oldest scientific zoo in the world, the place of study of Charles Darwin and it is situated at the northern edge of one of the royal parks, the Regent’s Park.

The London Zoo occupies an area of 14.6 hectares and seeks to preserve the authentic natural environment for more than 650 different species and a total of 12,000 live animals.

In 2010 the London Zoo opened the Rainforest Life, the only living rain forest in the UK, which will take you into a journey to meet a variety of amazing rainforest species. Other interesting exhibits are Night Life area, the Aquarium, the Gorilla Kingdom, the Reptile House, the B.U.G.S., Into Africa or the Meet the monkey area.

The London Zoo has many restaurants, playgrounds and souvenir shops.

Open daily at 10 a.m.  – 6 p.m. -the closing time may vary.

It is closed on Christmas day.

Adults £ 18.00, Children £ 14.20.

The visit to the Tower of London is free for London Pass holders
